Oh, woe is me

For I have a tale that spans the ages

It began in darkness, facing an angry sea

How cruel the tempest?

That crashes into ships

Drags the living into Atlantis and leaves them clawing for home

Yet, we welcome the winds

We summon the tides

To satisfy an inner yearning for the light

One that shines brighter than the stars

That breaks the sea, silences waves, and calms all turmoil

But, vanishes with a flash

Here for a moment

Then banished by the truth
